Visit with Friends
Today, we drove to Smithville, MO to visit our good friends. Matty enjoyed playing toys with Roman & Marshall, his best buddies. We had so much fun watching the little boys interact with each other! It appeared that they were trying very hard to communicate with each other. It is so wonderful to see how much progress they have made!

Busy Week
Matthew has had had quite a busy week! He had his 6-month checkup at the pediatrician on Monday and had to get 3 shots. He had a NICU followup clinic on Wednesday and did a great job for Dr. H...he held his head up high during tummy time and showed off his strong neck muscles. Today, he had a parents as teachers visit with Amy, and had fun playing on his blanket. Now, if we could only teach him to take naps in the day time!

NICU Friends
Today, Matthew's NICU friends visited our house. Roman (left), Marshall (center), and Matthew (right) enjoyed kicking their feet and playing toys together. The twins were Matthew's neighbors in the NICU and we became great friends with their parents, Mike and Danica. The little guys sure have come a long way since they were born!

Border War
I attended the infamous MU/KU game today with my family in the rain and sleet. We had about 14 people at our tailgate and then were all able to sit together in Arrowhead...the seats were great, only 4 rows from the field! Too bad that our Tigers couldn't pull off a win, but we still had a great season and are going on to the Big 12 championship game next week. The weather was cold but we still had a fun time.
Jeremy stayed at home with the little guy. I'm so glad that they were able to spend some quality "guy time" together!
