Leap Day

The boys had fun celebrating their first Leap Day today...my Mom made them the cutest frog shirts and we had fun playing outside (we didn't see any real frogs though).

Playground

Today, we took the boys to a large playground at a nearby elementary school. It was a perfect setup for Zach...it had a long runway where he could run back and forth safely, plus a little jungle gym house for him to play in. Matty had fun climbing up the blocks, going down slides, riding the swings and going down a zipline!

Must Love Dogs

Zach loves dogs, much to Stan's dismay. He loves to 'pet' Stan and attempt to hug him. Below are some pics from this morning...notice Zach's frosted tips...it looks like he had his hair professionally highlighted at the salon!

Bedtime Buddies

The boys have a blast every night in the tub together...splashing, playing with the watering can, and making a HUGE swampy mess! Last night, they happened to wear matching pajamas. Then, they wanted to ham it up for the camera!

Bubbles

We spent a lot of time outside this weekend...Matty had fun playing with his bubble gun and Zach had a blast running all over the place with his push toys. Matty also had a successful weekend in his new big guy pants...we have been working on potty training for a while now, and today is the 4th day in a row that has gone great. Matty is such a strong-willed guy, and potty training definitely hasn't been an easy process, but I am so proud of his recent success!

Happy Valentine's Day

The boys had a lovely Valentine's Day...their favorite part was playing out in the snow! I'm glad my Mom had her camera handy for a few of these pics, it's so hard to catch a good shot of 2 busy boys!

Snow Day

We finally had a snowfall this morning...only about 3 inches, but definitely the most we have had this year. Even though we were stuck inside all day, Matty had fun playing with his diggers and cars in the snow that I brought inside. Zach wanted nothing to do with the cold stuff...yet.

Hair Cut

Here is a shot of Matty before and one after he got his hair cut this week. He acted so grown up at the hair salon...he sat in the chair like a pro and told me to go and play with Zach. He was conversing with the stylist like such a big boy! Such a long way from his first hair cut...I had to hold him and there were a lot of tears. Way to go Matty!

Superbowl

The boys requested their favorite shows (Yo Gabba Gabba and Geo Trax) during the Superbowl yesterday, but they did enjoy watching the singing and dancing during the half-time entertainment. Zach's favorite song happens to be the Party Rock Anthem, and he recognized it immediately and started doing his famous head twist dance!
