Preschool Orientation

Zach went to his preschool orientation this morning.  It seems like just yesterday I was taking Matty to his first orientation too!  Zach's teacher will be Mrs Holsapple and his classroom is very cute.  He will have 6 boys and 3 girls in his class.  He had fun, although he wanted to leave after about 15 minutes.  His first official day will be next Tuesday!

Head for the Cure

We attended the annual Head for the Cure 5k this morning at Corporate Woods.  The boys sampled the food in tent village and I ran the race.  I finished 7th in my age group out of 147 women, with a time of 24 mins 26 secs (9 seconds better than my time last year).

Baby Shower

The boys attended their first baby shower on Sunday for my cousin Lauren.  The boys loved eating fruit and playing foos ball with my Uncle David!

First Day of Kindergarten!

Matty was so excited to start kindergarten at his new elementary school on Thursday!  We all walked him to school together and he was happy to see his friends there.  It's hard to believe that our former little peanut is now a big kindergartener!

Ice Cream Social

Yesterday afternoon, we went over to Matty's new school and met his teacher, Ms Lowenstein.  His room was large and really cute.  He has a few of his baseball team buddies in his class, which is great!  He gave his friend William a hug when they found out they were together.  He colored a picture, played Legos, and then we put his school supplies away.  Finally, the boys enjoyed ice cream treats.  Hard to believe that his first day is tomorrow!

Swimming Fun

Yesterday, we had fun at Ashlei's pool.  We had a nice lunch outside and then the boys enjoyed some swimming.  Afterwards, they had fun playing with Ashlei's dogs.  What a fun morning, thanks Ash!

Back to School Shopping

The boys had fun shopping for some new clothes at the Legends yesterday...

and then they cooled off in the sprinklers when we got home!
