News Flash

Hot off the press...little Zach just walked across the entire family room all by himself! He has finally decided that he does not need his walker toy anymore! He sure looks proud.
And here is Matty's reaction when we witnessed the exciting event!

Thanksgiving

We had a great turkey day! The boys had fun playing with everyone at my parents' house and Matty especially liked playing with Uncle Erik's helicopters. He decided that he didn't want to eat any Thanksgiving dinner (no surprise there), but Zach enjoyed his turkey and mashed potatoes. We are so thankful for all of the blessings in our lives.

St. Louis

Jeremy and I took a quick trip to St. Louis this weekend for my college friend, Maren's wedding reception. It was the first time that I was away from the boys for a night, but they were in great hands with my parents and grandma. We had such a fun time visiting with some of my Mizzou sorority buddies.

World Prematurity Day

Today is World Prematurity Day, which helps bring awareness to the 1 in 8 babies who are born too soon. We are so thankful for Matty's miraculous road through his prematurity and are so blessed to have both boys in our lives.

T-Rex

We took a trip up to the Legends shops yesterday morning and had a great time! There were already some large Christmas trees on display and the weather was beautiful. We all picked out some new tennis shoes at Nike (black and yellow matching shoes for the little guys), and then headed down to T-Rex for lunch. It has been about a year and a half since Matty was last there, but this time he seemed to enjoy it so much more. We sat by a giant fish aquarium and had a yummy lunch!

Walker Toy

Zach loves to push his walker toy all around...he is so close to walking, but I think he likes to hang on to something for a little added confidence. Yesterday afternoon, he pushed the toy all around the driveway and really far down the sidewalk. Matty, on the other hand, was out there having fun with his neighbor friends. They raked leaves, rode their bikes, played basketball...never a dull moment on a beautiful fall day!

Happy Halloween

Woof woof! The boys had a great time yesterday...we trick-or-treated for over an hour and Matty decided that his new favorite candy is a Whopper!
