Legends

We went to the Legends this evening and had a fun time!  We ate dinner at the Yard House, and then the boys played around the large fountain...we couldn't pull them away!  They threw pennies into the fountain, splashed around...we had to take turns running into Nike to shop because they wouldn't leave the large water display.  They got a little soaked, but boys will be boys!

3rd Birthday Party

We had Zach's 3rd birthday party at my parents' house last night (a few weeks late).  It was so nice catching up with my family!  Zach opened some really neat presents...a new Geo train, legos, remote control monster truck, bubble gun, JD tractors, an etch-a-sketch, little motorcycles, dvd's, and of course clothes!

Royals

Our neighbors gave us their tickets to the Royals game last night, so we headed out to the K!  The boys ate sub sandwiches in the parking lot, and then went inside the stadium for their first time.  The seats were great but the boys grew fidgety after awhile, so we rode some escalators and made our way behind the big scoreboard.  There was so much to see behind the outfield...the Royals Hall of Fame, miniature golf, a play area, numerous statues...of course the boys' favorite things was to be so close to the fountains!

School Picture Day

Baseball Day

Matty's school had baseball shirt day this morning, and he wore his Pirates jersey.  He is also a Royals fan of course, so I am also including a picture of him in Royals blue when he was just a year old!

NICU Reunion

This morning, we attended our 5th NICU reunion, which was held at the Wonderscope Children's Museum once again.  The boys had the most fun in the room full of different ball activities.  Just as Zach and I went outside to get a bite to eat, a random rain storm blew in and we were trapped underneath the tent for about 20 minutes!  Luckily, we ran into Matty's first doctor, Dr Stapley and were able to chat for a bit.  There were so many little miracle children running around, who have gradated from the OPR NICU in recent years!

Fall Farm Fun

Puppy Love

Today, the boys met Ashlei's new puppy Oliver for the first time, and they loved him!  We now have a total of 4 shih tzus in our family!

3 Year Check-up

Zach had his 3 year check-up this morning with Dr S.  For the first time, he didn't cry there!  He was very brave, but did not like it when the nurse and the doctor examined him.  He kept asking, 'can we leave now?'

Zach's 3 year stats:

Weight: 30 lbs (40%).  He gained 2 lbs 8 oz this year, and is still close to the middle for weight, which is good.

Height: 39.17 inches (81%).  He grew about 3 inches this year, and is still a tall boy for his age!

Park Place

My Mom and I took the boys to the Park Place shopping area last night.  I have only been there in the dark, and was surprised to see how nice it was.  The boys had fun running around the fountains and the green turf area.  We went in the gelato store and they tried several different flavors.  Zach really wanted to try the green mint one and when he finally tasted it, he said 'ick'.  Matty settled on triple vanilla and chocolate oreo, and Zach had triple vanilla and wedding cake flavor.  They had so much fun, it was difficult getting them both to leave!
