CG Expos

Zach made the CG Expos team last February.  The team finally started their season in late May, and played in the BV Gold Glove League as well as in 3 tournaments.  It was tough at times for Zach, as he was the new kid on an established team.  However, he did very well...he batted in the middle of the lineup, played both outfield and 2nd base, and pitched on multiple occasions.  When the team was in a tough situation, the coaches used Zach as their closer, since he is such an accurate pitcher and gets the job done every time.  In fact, in league play, Zach allowed zero walks.  He was brought in as the closer in the last game of the season, and struck out the last 2 batters like clockwork.  Great job Z!

Lakewood Lions

Matt had another great season with his team.  The Lions have been together since before the boys started kindergarten.  Matt picked up his hitting this season, and played more infield than he ever has before, including shortstop.  He really enjoyed having his dad as an assistant coach also!  The boys had their last game last night, and won!  They also took 2nd place overall in their division.  Great job Lions!  We are proud of your hard work Matty!
