Matthew Times 2

Yesterday, we babysat for the next door neighbors. Their little boy is also named Matthew, and he will be 2 in early May. So, he is technically 4 months older than our Matthew, who wasn't due until September. The little guys had so much fun playing! They rode the giraffe & horse, played with Elmo & leggos, read books, and goofed around. They also ate dinner together. It was really interesting watching their interactions. Matty has played with his friend outside before, but this was the first time that they were together inside playing with toys. At first, Matty seemed protective of me, like he wanted his friend to know that I was HIS Mom. But then he eased up and had a great time. I asked Matty to give his friend a hug, which he did...the last picture is priceless!
