Big Boy Haircut
I have been dreading this day for some time now, since Matty hates to be messed with by strangers...but his first official haircut actually went ok! We went to a cute hair salon specifically for kids. They had cute things to sit in, such as a fire truck, jeep, & airplane and fun things to watch on tv. I had to hold him during the actual haircut, and he did ok until the end when the lady brought out the electric clippers. Even though he usually likes electrical things, he didn't approve of the clippers on his neck. But he made it through! He even helped sweep up the floor afterwards. What a nice gesture!

These places are a dream come true for parents taking their kids for hair cuts. It's almost like they cut their hair before they realize it. I took Camryn at 18 months and was sorry I ever did. She was getting pretty shaggy but once we cut it, all of her beautiful baby curls went away. Hoping Darcy keeps some of hers. :)
