When the pool opened this year, Matty was still a very timid swimmer. He would have to hold on to one of us with both hands when jumping in, would NOT go under water, and was very clingy. We signed him up for private swimming lessons, and after all 6 lessons were completed, his confidence was starting to build. Last week, he had a major break-through...he will now jump in all by himself, go under water, and will paddle across the pool unassisted. We are so proud of him! He is a completely different kid at the pool now than he was just a few short weeks ago. Both boys also love to go down the big water slide at our pool. Zach has fun playing with his watering can and other toys there, and he tells us over and over "SLIDE"...that is his favorite thing to do of course!
