Brave Boy

Yesterday, the boys were at the park in our neighborhood, and Zach slipped on some rocks.  He fell forward and sliced open his right palm.  We went to the new Children's Mercy urgent care, and were there for almost 4 hours.  Instead of receiving a shot for the pain, he had to sit with numbing gel on his hand for about an hour.  He was so brave while his hand was being stitched up...he ended up with 10 stitches!  He has to wear a large wrap on his hand for a few days, but can then have a smaller bandage.
