Vacation - day 1

We have been planning our beach trip for many months now, and the boys were excited to wake up and hit the road. We left pretty early and drove through numerous thunderstorms the entire day. The boys kept busy with crafts, movies, and their iPads, but it was a slow go at times driving through all of the rain. We left Kansas and drove through Missouri, Arkansas, and Tennessee. We reached Memphis (which was the half-way point to the beach), checked into the hotel, and took the boys for a quick swim. After dinner at Chili's, we were all ready to get some much needed sleep!
