Gearing Up

Matty starts his first baseball season this Saturday.  He had fun choosing a new pair of cleats and baseball pants yesterday!

Shopping Buddy

Zach has so much fun running errands with me while Matty is in school.  He knows which stores have the best escalators and the best smelling candles.  Yesterday, we went to the mall and he had fun on the escalators and the carousel...he even found some pretty flowers outside to smell!

The boys had a great time at the Arboretum today.  The weather was picture perfect!

Easter

We had a great Easter yesterday!  We went to noon mass and then over to my parents' house for an early dinner.  The boys had fun playing with their new bubble blower toys and Angry Birds games, and playing with their little cousin.

Easter Egg Hunt

Matty's preschool had an Easter egg hunt yesterday outside in the courtyard.  It was chilly and super windy, but all of the kids had fun.  Zach really wanted to participate too, so he found a few eggs of his own and put them into Matty's basket.

Haircuts

The boys had haircuts yesterday.  Zach has been to the salon once before, but the lady used only scissors on his hair.  This time, he let her use the clippers and he was a pro!  He only moved when asked to look down or straight.  He looks like such a big boy now, and resembles Matty even more!

Hot Weekend

We had a warm weekend and the boys had fun playing outside a lot!

Kindergarten Round-up

Matty attended kindergarten round-up on Friday afternoon.  He spent about an hour and a half in a classroom, while Zach and I listened to a talk in the gym and went for a tour around the school.  The elementary school is in our neighborhood and is a really neat place for kids to learn everyday.  I can't believe our little Matty will be in kindergarten in 4 short months!

Arboretum

We drove out to the Arboretum yesterday, even though it was a bit chilly and windy.  There weren't many flowers in bloom yet, but the boys were thrilled that a couple of the trains were up and running!  The Thomas train actually blew off of its track while we were there!
